PNWBA Cooks' Rules
Important Information:
- Charcoal, wood or wood-pellet grills only, no gas.
- The entry fee is $145 per team.
- Teams compete in four meat categories: chicken, pork ribs, beef brisket
and pork butt.
- Early arrival on Friday evening is encouraged. Check the box on the entry
form if you plan to arrive on Friday. Check out the map for more details.
- Painted Hills Natural Beef is donating one whole brisket and Two Boys
Select Market is donating two racks of baby back ribs to each team.
- We will award at least $3000 in prize money paying through 10th place.
- $100 Hotel Condon gift certificate to be drawn at Cooks Meeting.
- $50 in free gas to the team that drives the farthest (as determined by
internet mapping).
- NO ELECTRICITY WILL BE AVAILABLE! This is a change from
previous years. Quiet generators are okay.
- If you want info on other housing options besides sleeping at your site,
contact Kim.
- There will be an opportunity to vend to the public on Saturday, July 4th
from 5-7pm. The second page of the form has all the details but the most
important item is that teams who vend on Saturday night will need a temporary
restaurant permit. There’s no charge and you can find the form online but
you need to mail it by June 20.
